The Simonetti Table

This was a huge piece of hickory, almost 3' thick, and finished at 2-5/8". Very robust table on an industrial steel base, like we all say after our mid forties,  That aint goin anywhere.    The fun part of this table was a split aluminum DNR duck leg tag that I straightened out an inlaid in the table from the 2012-2013 wetlands challenge at Harsens Island, a place and subject very near and dear to the new owner of this tables heart.   All the voids, splits and cracks are completely filled with black epoxy and matte finished. Sealer is several coats of Waterlox.
